Prize Night 2007
Prize Night took place
on Monday 14th May with Special Guest His
Excellency Richard Ryan, Irish Ambassador to the
Netherlands, who is a past pupil of the College. Mr. Ryan
spoke eloquently of his time at Oatlands which retains a
special magic for him. He also took us though a brief resume
of a career which has taken him all around the world and
seen him rise to the highest levels of international
diplomacy such as the time he spent as Ireland’s
representative at the U.N. during our Presidency of the
Security Council. Not bad for someone who set off for Tokyo
with his wife and two pairs of chopsticks!
