Gaelic Football Triumph

After the fiercely contested drawn game between the two sides before Christmas, another terrific encounter between the Oatlands Senior Gaelic footballers and St. Fintan’s ended with victory and a place in the quarter final of the Dublin Championship by a score of 1-17 to 1-14. The match took place at the Sutton school’s grounds on Monday, 14^th January and featured an outstanding display by centre forward David Higgins who contributed a goal and eleven points to the team’s final tally. Oatland’s other scorers on the day were Nick Devereux, Kian Jennings and Gary Murphy who scored two points each.
