  • In January the  Sixth Year Biology and Chemistry classes made the trip to Glasnevin to Dublin City University. Where they carried out some of the mandatory experiments on the Leaving Certificate Course, under the supervision of D.C.U. students and professors. Leaving cert pupil Sean said "It was certainly a worthwhile experience and everyone received an excellent recap on some of the most important experiments on the course."

  • Second Year students went on a trip to Baltinglass Adventure Centre where one of the highlights was the canoeing despite the difficulty of getting the wet suits on and off! The Simon Says Game taught them how tricky it can be to stand up in a canoe without losing your balance while absailing, archery,  rock climbing and orienteering also provided a lot of challenging fun.

  • Third  Year students went on a cycling trip around the Dun Laoghaire and Dalkey coastline to learn about the history and topography of the area, accompanied by their geography teacher Mr. Kelly.

  • All First year students  attended a performance of  The Snowman Movie in the National Concert Hall on Wednesday, 15th December. The R.TE. Concert Orchestra played the music and narration was provided by Brian Ormonde. The concert also featured St. Patrick’s Boys School Choir, including a boy soprano singing ‘Walking in the Air’, the song made famous by Aled Jones. A selection of Christmas Carols and performances by solo artists added to the seasonal  atmosphere of the concert .
