Transition Year

While still optional, Transition Year is now a well established feature of life at Oatlands College. Transition Year students are provided with a range of academic, social and technical experiences which consolidate what they have learned in the Junior Cycle and leave them better equipped, better motivated and more clearly focused on the demands of the Leaving Certificate programme. The foundation laid in Transition Year can also be a solid base for a more mature and consistent approach to third-level studies after the Leaving Certificate.
