Oatlands College

The Parents' Council

line

The Parents' Council represents the views of parents to the Board of Management, the Principal and the teaching Staff. We promote and support a variety of social, cultural, sporting and fundraising activities within the College.

The Parents Council is represented on a National Federation of Parents' Councils which is in turn represented on the statutory National Parents' Council (NPCpp).

The Oatlands College Parents' Council holds an Annual General Meeting each September at which representatives for the various classes are elected. Parents may volunteer for the Council at the AGM.Officers are elected at the first meeting after the A.G.M. and hold office until the next A.G.M.

If parents would like any item relevant to our role in school lofe, or would like anything added to the monthly agenda we would be delighted to hear from you. The council can be mailed directly at parentscouncil@oatlands.net

We would appreciate your continued support for any activity that we run during the school year. The Parents' Council belongs to all of us.
